YOUTH SERIES AND EVENTS

There are a number of series and events recognised by the FEI for young people in equestrianism today, in all disciplines and around the globe. The series listed below are for Jumping series, however, you will find a number of international events in all FEI disciplines for Children, Juniors, Young riders or Ponies, through the FEI Search Centre. The premier Youth events (Games, Championships and Series) are: 

Youth Olympic Games
14-26 August, Singapore (SIN)
In 2010, the first ever Youth Olympic Games will be held in Singapore from 14-26 August. Jumping is the sole equestrian discipline represented with both Team and Individual events. For more information on this really exciting opportunity for young riders, click here.

FEI Children’s International Jumping Competition
The FEI Children's International Jumping Competition consists of three categories-  A, B and C - of different standards. Children may participate in qualifying events with horses or ponies in all three categories. An annual Final is held for Category A finalists, where riders from each region are invited to participate in the one venue on borrowed horses. For more information, click here.

SIEC FEI World Youth Series
The SIEC FEI World Youth Series was created to provide riders between the ages of 12 and 21 the experience of team competition at national level. To find out more, click here.
